I’ve not done one of these empties in a long time but I was having
a look through my stash and realised that I had been unintentionally hording my
empty packaging! I’ve not got many empties to show you, things
like shampoos and conditioners I tend to use the same ones so thought I wouldn’t
bore you with those …also another side note, I actually had multiple empties of
a few of the products, but I’ve only shown just the one in the pictures!

West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton ...
This weekend me and the boy took a trip to West Quay... and it was bloomin AMAZING! I know it’s sad that I get a bit over excited about a shopping centre, but you NEED to go visit this place! Check out their website here for a full list of their shops, there are also a few shops such as Primark, Topshop, Urban Outfitters and one of the best Boots iv ever been in, just outside of West Quay Centre on the high street.
We were staving when we got there, so paid a visit to the Food Hall first... and oh my lord! There are so many great places to go eat! We settled on a Wagamamas. The service was great, really quick and our waiter was a doll and not to mention the food was sooo good!
I then dragged the boy to John Lewis...oh John Lewis, this is where a lot of my spending went down! The John Lewis beauty hall is amazing! The sea of beauty counters, the Mulberry and Michael Kors accessories... Its heaven for a beauty and fashion junkie like me! They've also finally got a Mac counter and have the prettiest Jo Malone counter I ever did see!
I treated myself to some Bobbie Brown goodies. The staff were so lovely and friendly, actually I found the staff to be lovely on most of the counters. I have been eyeing up the Bobbie Brown correctors and concealers for a while, so I asked to get colour matched. Before putting the concealer on, she used the Bobbie Brown Hydrating under eye cream… let me tell you, with the combination of these products my eyes have never felt or looked so awake!…needless to say I splurged and purchased the lot! – a post to come soon on these beauties!
After quite a long
time walking my way around John Lewis, we ended up in Superdry – They have
their own makeup line, which is news to me! And I now have my eye on 2 of their
coats, also their rucksacks are super cute! We then made a trip to Hollister,
their Tidelands Beach body mist is so nice, I’m
tempted to order this online, if your near a Hollister you seriously need to go
give this a whiff!
Of course I made the obligatory trip to Zara, it would have been rude not to! I then allowed the boy in to some of his man shops!
Just outside of West Quay Shopping Centre (on the high street) they have an amazing Urban Outfitters that of course I had to pay a visit to! I loved their candles! I highly recommend taking a whiff! They have some really unusual scents that I’ve not seen anywhere else, you can find their candle selection online here, my faves are Prosecco Candle, Elderflower & Champagne Candle and Raspberry & Papaya Candle!
Theres also a HUGE boots with an amazing beauty hall, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw their fully stocked Bumble and Bumble counter…the shop assistant actually asked if I was alright!... I was in Boots heaven with their Bumble & Bumble, Ojoin, Philosophy, Stila and This Works counters, it would have been illegal to walk away without purchasing something!
I had such a great day, I was shattered by the end of it!... anyways, to cut a long story (or should I say blog post short) I highly recommended West Quay shopping Centre…also, I’m just putting this out there… there’s an IKEA just down the road!! …What’s not to love about that?!

Megan Fox: Beauty Secrets...
I was browsing the Marie Claire website and stumbled accross an interview with Megan Fox spilling her beauty secrets & just had to share! Megan Fox is an all round babe, who wouldnt want to know the secret to that flawless looking skin and those amazing tousled locks right?!
“1. My beauty philosophy is ‘less is
more’, so my daily routine consists of washing my face thoroughly and
moisturising with La Roche-Posay sunscreen. I drink lots of water and think
it’s important to get lots of sleep.
2. I always
wanted to be blonde when I was little, like Barbie and Pamela Anderson, but it
would really damage my hair. It was exotic to me, as my entire family has dark
hair. If I did it, I would go white- blonde- really platinum.
3. I always
carry Armani Code fragrance as it reminds me of growing up in Florida, as well
as Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers and a
hand sanitiser. I also keep a lot of moisturisers with me when I travel as the
climate changes can dry out my skin.
4. My
definition of beauty is simplicity, elegance and sensuality. Ava Gardner is my
beauty icon. I think that when a woman is in harmony with herself and remains
true to her values, she will glow naturally. Fememininity doesn’t depend on
what you wear or how you look. It’s an attitude.
5. Sport
gives me positive energy so I exercise everyday with my trainer, Harley
Pasternak. Each circuit is 45 minutes long and I lift weights but never do
cardio.
6. I eat
five times a day and don’t diet, but I do eat healthily- mostly raw and vegan
food, with no dairy. It’s not always possible with travel and filming, but I
try. I also take supplements like silica and fish oil religiously.
7. I try to
keep my make-up fresh, clean and pretty on the red carpet. My signature look is
red lipstick worn with plain eyes, so I apply a light foundation, then on my
cheeks I use blush or sometimes the same lipstick that I’m wearing. Giorgio
Armani Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in 400 contrasts well with my pale complexion
and dark hair.
8. Even when
I’m working I don’t like wearing too much make-up, but when I’m on my own I go
bare-faced as I like to give my skin a rest.
9. For a
date night I go for beachy, natural bed hair. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray
gives my hair that wavy, thick texture.
10. I have
to wash my face every 12 hours and then moisturise. I only take showers as I
don’t like sitting in bath water. After my shower I moisturise with Grapeseed
Oil from Whole foods. It’s a great moisturiser and lighter than olive oil.

If thats how Megan Fox gets those gorge locks, then the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray is next on my hit list!! lol
